About the Lambda DKE Alumni Association

The Lambda DKE Alumni Association was created to assist in the success of the active chapter and to help keep decades of Lambda-DKEs in touch with each other and campus life. Each October at our annual meeting, Lambda-Deke alumni come back to Gambier to discuss the Association's agenda for the year, elect new officers, and to visit with old friends. In the past, Bob Heasley '62, single handedly kept the association afloat to the great benefit of the active chapter. In recent years the Association has expanded to establish by-laws for the group, elected officers to lead the organization, hosted three successful Lambda-Deke Alumni Weekends, and undertaken multiple long term projects. The Association is proud of the great strides it has taken and looks forward to working with the active chapter in the coming years to keep the Lambda chapter strong.

Currently George C. Williams '06 serves as the Association's President, with Ted Eismeier, '08  as Vice President, Bob Heasley '62 as Treasurer, and Bill Geist '76 as Secretary. In recent years the Association has successfully launched a new fraternity/alumni website, established the Bob Heasley Scholarship Foundation, and set a series of goals for the next five years. In this plan are initiatives such as a "jobs" section of the website so that actives and Alumni can connect for employment opportunities. We are also hosting regional gatherings so that Alumni can connect with other Lambda-Dekes in their region more than once a year (next events: March 23 - Los Angeles / May 12 - New York City)

The success of the Association is dependent on the involvement of fellow Lambda-Deke alumni. Please join us every year on the first weekend in October as we hold our annual meeting at Kenyon to review our progress, elect new leadership and see each other. We also encourage you to join the "Lambda DKE Alumni Association" Facebook group and the "Lambda DKE Alumni" LinkedIn group to stay in touch with brothers and see frequent updates on the active chapter.
