Lambda Chapter Encourages Alumni to Come Back for Summer Send Off

Over 15 alumni gathered at Kenyon on the weekend of April 30^th for the school’s Summer Sendoff celebration. While some had planned for the trip for months and flew in from as far away as California, others spontaneously decided a trip back to the Hill was worth the long drive on Friday afternoon. The returning alumni took whatever couch would hold them on Friday night, with several boldly choosing to sleep on the couches in the DKE Lounge.

Saturday’s school-wide celebration brought the campus to South Lawn where the DKE’s hosted a Motown cover band that made the lawn in front of the West Wing of Old Kenyon the place to be on campus. RjD2, the school's chosen Summer Sendoff band for the year,  kept the celebration rolling deep into the night. Many of the older visiting alumni opted for the Kenyon Inn on Saturday night after an early morning wake up from Kenyon’s Security force in the lounge.

Reports from the front lines indicate that all alumni enjoyed returning to campus to see the Senior class for the last time as active brothers.
